New skills share group forming in early September, memebers are invited to attend and teach free arts and craft classes. Danielle, MissPurl and I (littleput) are organizing classes now.
***You don't have to teach to attend, just drop in, have some hot chocolate and learn something new :)

Specifics:
What: Take a class once a week or teach a class once in a while.
When: Currently Tuesday evenings from 7pm-9pm
Where: Portland Cedarwood School, 3030 sw 2nd Downtown pdx 97201
Who can attend: Anyone and everyone, there is even a play space and a gym for kids.
Who can teach: Anyone can teach or share a skill and the more who do the better.
How much: No classroom fee but in some cases you will need to bring your own materials, a list will be included in the class description and an occasional donation to the space may suggested.

what a great community building initiative. It's fun, it's growth, it's convenient.
This is such an awesome idea! I am going to try to attend some of the classes and try to figure out a class to teach.
